How do you ship?
Orders within Australia will generally be sent via Australia Post or couriered via arrangement.
Can I pick up my order in person?
Yes, you sure can! Enter code PICKUP at checkout and get in touch with us to organise pickup from the studio in Cremorne, Sydney.
Do you do custom or commissioned pieces?
Yes indeed! Derum Studio is currently available for freelance work, commissions, collaborations and any other fun projects you have in mind, Please get in touch via the contact tab or email [email protected]
Can I borrow your ceramics for a shoot or styling job?
Yes! I offer loans for stylists and publications.
If the shoot credits Derum Studio (@derum), there’s no fee.
For uncredited use, a 10% fee of the RRP applies.
Borrowers are responsible for safe return shipping and any breakages.

Do you sell your ceramics online?
Yes—small-batch collections are released a few times a year.
They tend to sell quickly, so follow @derum or join the mailing list for early access.
Can I commission a custom piece?
Sometimes! It depends on my kiln schedule and capacity.

Where are your ceramics made?
Each piece is handmade in my Sydney studio using Australian stoneware and hand-mixed glazes.
Every item is unique and reflects a slow, thoughtful process.
Are your pieces food safe?
Yes—all functional items (mugs, bowls, plates) are made with food-safe, lead-free glazes.
They’re microwave and dishwasher safe, but I recommend hand-washing to keep them beautiful longer.
I saw something I loved on Instagram—can I still buy it?
Maybe! If it’s not in the online shop, just ask.
I’ll let you know if I have one in stock or can create something similar.
Do you ship internationally?
I ship Australia-wide.
