Pinch Pottery Workshop - FRIDAY JUNE 30

Put aside the stresses of your day and learn how to handbuild pinch pots at this 2 hour workshop by ceramicist Melissa Derum upstairs at the beautiful Best Bagel studio space, Cremorne!

Melissa will teach you everything you need to know about working with stonewear clay and the techniques you will need to create a bowl or cup out of clay. During the second half of the class you will be able to build on these techniques to create another vessel of your choosing, guided by Melissa along the way. Our small class size allows for hands on support and guidance.

After the workshop, your pieces will be taken away for drying then bisque fired in our kiln, glazed, second fired, cleaned and returned to Best Bagel for collection approximately four weeks after the class or can be posted for an additional cost.

Knowledge required:
Beginner-friendly workshop, no knowledge required.

What you'll get:
Two stoneware ceramics pieces handmade by you :)

What to bring:
All materials provided including apron for your use during the class.
